6Q Music Production is a music and media production company. 6Q currently provides an innovative creative workspace for artists, musicians and producers from our production studio in St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda.
Our Story.
Our modern recording studio is efficient and furnished with superb instruments and professional tools for consistent audio processing. All of the tasks associated with creating the final product are undertaken in-house.
We also provide many other important services to our artists, including graphic design, storyboards, video production and advanced editing.
In addition, our networking allows us to collaborate with songwriters and musicians who add a unique flavor to our productions. We also encourage originality by providing a futuristic acoustic soundstage with thousands of sound-design options.

Robert Lake
Digital Producer
Robert, founder of 6Q Music Production is a multi-talented audio visual creator skilled in an extensive range of digital production technologies. Robert was a director of one of the largest music community development projects in the UK during the 1980's where he and other like minded individuals perfected their unique skills. Robert was also a co-director of the Artists and Musicians Promotional Service based in East London, creating a number of opportunities for its members. Robert is also sales and marketing expert, achieving many awards throughout his professional career for outstanding sales and marketing contributions, along with coveted directors appreciation awards.
Patrick Ross
Associate Digital Producer
Patrick is an extremely experienced recording engineer musician and digital producer. Patrick was the founder of Redemption Posse in the USA and had the pleasure of working alongside some of the industry greats such as Skyy, Ike Turner, Calvin "Fuzzy" Samuels, Sugar Minott, Ras Michael, Joe Higgs, Bunny Wailer, Val Douglas, Sangy Davis, Dennis Brown, Haile Maskel, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, West Side Connection, Tupac Shakur, Prince Ital Joe, Santa Davis, Sly & Robbie...the list goes on. Patrick is also a certified IT network administrator for Cisco, Microsoft, Apple and Linux platforms.
Louis Beckett
Associate Engineer
Louis is an incredible live engineer, producer and multi-talented musician. Louis met Robert in the early 80's in Chats Palace East London whilst exploring digital production. Louis has many credits to his prolific sound engineering career, mixing at world renowned venues and festivals. i.e. Royal Opera House, Royal Albert Hall, O2 Arena, Glastonbury Troubadour, Summer Jam, amongst others. Louis has also engineered for Lauren Hill Dennis Brown, Culture, Misty and Roots, Sylvia Telle, Jean Adebambo, Bob Andy, Luciano, Lloyd Brown, Twinkle Brothers, Horace Any, Jonny Clare, and Delroy Wilson.
Rupert Henry
Associate Engineer
Rupert is a remarkable and thoughtful mastering engineer. He is versed in a number of mastering and production software and works across both Apple and Microsoft environments. Rupert was involved in a number of music projects in East London where he met Robert, and forged a working relationship to this day. Rupert has mixed and mastered for many reggae artists such as African Head Charge, Junior Reid, the mighty Prince Lincoln and Big Youth amongst others. He was also a sound selector and MC for Casanova, Fatman HiFi, and Turbomatic. Rupert is also a radio DJ on Platinum FM.
I was a novice and wanted to record a song. But, to my surprise it ended up becoming a whole masterclass of learning the basics and I have seen tremendous improvement in my musical skills and creativity over the past year whilst recording at 6Q.
